Meet Paul Liebrandt



This documentary looks interesting to me because it involves food and art.

A Mounthful is the work of director Sally Rowe and follows the chef Liebrandt. He him followed the chef at the time his was well know as the most original chef in New York to his downfall and all the way to his recent comeback as the head of TriBeCa’s Corton. Liebrandt, with his challenging avant-garde cuisine became the youngest chef ever awarded three starts from The New York Times but also, one of the most controversial cooks in town.
 
The film premieres will be at the South by southwest Film Festival in March, so I guess I’ll have to be patient to see it.
